This unique safari deploys two crews and two identically configured tented camps. While the group are enjoying their stay in camp 1, camp 2 is being erected ready for their arrival. We have the freedom to roam and take you to places not normally found on standard tours; such as Lobo in the Serengeti, Ndutu and Klein's gate and the shores of Lake Natron, often teeming with flamingos.

Flying across the Serengeti, Tarangire or any Tanzanian National Park is simply a breathtaking experience. The silence is only punctuated by the occasional blast on the burners are the skilled pilot glides you across the plains and animals scattered below, oblivious to your presence.

The day requires an early start, around 4am, when it's still dark and you will lift off around sunrise, around 6:30am.  After an hour or so, it is time to descend where you will be me by the ground crew for a champagne breakfast in the bush.

Each flight is a different journey dictated by the direction of the wind, where the sights and sounds rise from the ground to meet you. We know where we’ve started but we don’t know where we will return to earth. This is part of the adventure. Sometimes the basket will be gently brushing the tips of the grass and then climbing, climbing through the layers of air until you’re high enough to see the curve of the horizon, painted gold and pink by the early sun. Our pilots not only have years of experience in harnessing the African wind, but are also interpreters of the wild lives in the ebb and flow of the landscape below.

The Safari Blue Experience is an unmissable day excursion exploring the protected waters of Zanzibar.  You will be transferred to the beach where the mahogany traditional Dhow boats will be waiting and fitted with snorkels, masks and flippers. Snorkelling is of course optional, but the sailing alone is a wonderful experience and complimentary drinks are onboard.

At midday, you will land at a private beach for the most extraordinary seafood barbecue and relax on the white sands before returning to Zanzibar where you driver will be waiting to return you to the hotel.

Tumbili Lodge is a small boutique hotel situated in a beautiful lush garden with a stunning view on Mount Meru. Lemala Mara is a luxury mobile tented camp offering an authentic bush experience, but the tents are spacious and each is furnished with two queen-size beds and all the little luxuries that make them surprisingly comfortable. After an evening game drive, your tent attendant ensures your safari shower is filled with hot water to wash away the dust of the African savannah. Tasty meals are freshly prepared, and the camp organizes great picnic breakfasts and lunches for those who want to go on extended full-day game drives. Embalakia Authentic Camp is an excellent place to stay in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, this camp offers an authentic safari experience. Guests can enjoy the diverse wildlife of the area, including lions, elephants, and rhinos, through thrilling game drives led by experienced guides.

The camp has views over the local acacia trees and out to the far-off hills. It is close to the Elerai River and the Maasai bomas. The dining area, where you will eat breakfast and dinner, is located in the main tent. The deck is the ideal location for watching the sun set over the far-off hills while sipping a cool sundowner. In the evening after dinner you can unwind at the fire pit area, where you can share all your safari tales and experiences or perhaps hear from some of the team.

The inn is a charming country estate that was once an old coffee farm, and still retains the nostalgic air of a well-loved homestead. Sprawling ten acres of fertile greenery, the grounds are a natural extension of Mt Meru’s sloping foothills, and offer a sanctuary for the birds and wildlife indigenous to the area.

You will be driven for approximate 3 hours to arrive at the classic Serenity Lodge that sits on the shores of Lake Victoria, located just 20 km from the Serengeti National Park. The lodge is very traditional in style and has a charm all of its own steeped in history

All Rooms are ensuite with both shower and bathtub and provides soft furnishings, a writing desk, stationery and a Room fan. You will be able to relax on the terrace looking over the tranquil lake and enjoy a dinner with breathtaking views.

Kenzan camps are traditional safari tents but with the added comfort of an en-suite bathroom and rudimentary electrical supply from solar energy, enough to charge devices.

These tented camps are serviced by friendly and attentive staff and although these would not be classed as luxury, they provide first class essentials with a good bed, crisp linen, good food and the all important camp fire along the banks of Lake Ndutu.
